This is my wonderful stupendous wife. We met at the University of Kentucky, and she took her law degree at Cornell. Currently, she does Big Law, is a Kentucky Colonel (seriously, like Colonel Sanders), and the best thing in my life.

My name is Adam Patterson, and I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from Syracuse University. My dissertation was on group well-being. My committee was Ben Bradley (chair), Dave Sobel, Hille Paakkunainen, and Dave Drink (external). Though my primary AOS is value theory, I’ve published (and maintain active research interests in) several other areas as well.

These are our dogs. Arlo is a mini goldendoodle. Schroeder is a rescue mini schnauzer. If I’m home working, their job is to paw at me, grumble, and make big eyes until I stop working and pay attention to them. If Evelyn is home, their job is to be constantly underfoot.
